February is the month of Spring, love, food, friendship and celebrations. And speaking about celebrations I thought of putting together a cocktail for Galentine’s Day. Tequila is a generally difficult drink to approach. But imagine a mix of natural and fresh flavors. It makes enjoying tequila simple and fun! You can now have a Gal-a time this Galentine’s Day with tequila from 21Seeds. Their tequila is an all-natural, real fruit-infused tequila that I enjoy dearly. It is a great addition to cocktails, making them taste way better and delicious. If you are on a fitness journey, you can enjoy the tequila too because 21Seeds makes it gluten-free, keto-friendly, non-GMO, and with a lower ABV.
So, what is all the talk about? Well, Tequila should be smooth, but simple. Casual, but fresh. That is exactly what Kat, the founder and CEO of 21Seeds has to say about the inspiration behind the brand. Kat’s doctor had recommended switching from fermented drinks like wine and beer to distilled spirits like tequila and that is when 21Seeds was born. They make tequila approachable. This is easy to believe when you read the story behind the creation of 21Seeds; two sisters, a friend, and a team of women at a distillery creating art. Or as they like to say, #GirlsCallTheShots.
It is pure bliss to be sipping on a Blanco tequila infused with cucumbers and jalapeños. Tastes like a carnival but in the comfort of your own home because their e-commerce partners deliver it to your doorstep. You can even find local retailers or visit the website here to purchase. It is available globally so these goddesses are blessing everyone with their creation! There are a plethora of ideas to create your cocktails, have it on the rocks, or as their popular Seed + Soda!
Below is my recipe:
- 1.5 oz of 21Seeds Cucumber Jalapeno Tequila
- 2 oz of fresh cucumber juice
- 1 oz of lime juice
- 2 oz of soda
- Ice cubes
- Some salt to rim the glasses
- Sliced lime for garnishing
Cucumber juice, tequila, lime juice, and soda (green colored if possible) are mixed together in a glass. You can add ½ or 1 teaspoon of sugar as per your taste. Finally garnish with lime slices.
What I adore about 21Seeds Tequila is how versatile it is. It blends in to create the best tasting cocktails and yet, it stands out. Elevating drinks gets a whole lot easier. The two other dazzling flavors are Grapefruit Hibiscus and Valencia Orange. So, call in your lovely gal pals for an evening of conversation and cocktails and have a gal-a time. 21Seeds Tequila may not be the answer to all your problems but it’s worth the shot, or 3!
