As the holiday season approaches, I would like to wish everyone peace, love, health, and happiness. May magic fill your days and all your dreams come true this holiday season. Speaking about holidays, that gives me some time to do some Christmas sneaky stuff, like shopping, decorating, and wrapping. This is the gift-giving season; giving gifts is psychologically more rewarding than getting gifts. And today in my blog post I’m going to speak about DIY gift baskets.
Gift baskets are a great way to curate the absolute best for your friends, family, and loved ones. A gift basket is always a nice option especially when you are not aware of everyone’s likes and dislikes. Everyone ranging from your cousins to your neighbors is always pleased with a tastefully presented gift basket. You can certainly buy a premade gift basket, but putting one together yourself lets you curate a collection of hand-picked goods that will surely make loved ones feel special during the holidays.
Below, I’m sharing how I created a Ghirardelli Chocolate holiday gift basket.
It was time to hunt for products my recipients would love. Everyone loves chocolates and chocolates work great on all festive occasions. The Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark signifies the start of the Christmas season so I wanted to incorporate this in my gift basket. I got some Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark squares along with Caramel Squares and 60% Baking Chips from my local Walmart. I used a bamboo basket to store the goodies since it looks elegant and is reusable. You can use props like candles, essential oils, a holiday notepad, or a journal to your gift basket. I stuck a red ribbon bow at the top of the handle and added a few Christmas ornaments of various sizes to give my basket a more festive look. And voila..that’s it! Wasn’t that super easy! Do give this a try…I’m sure people you share this gift basket with are going to love it. Ghirardelli is high-quality chocolate and definitely makes the holidays a bite better!
If Christmas is not your holiday, let me wish you and your family a very Happy Holiday! We are all set for the holiday season and looking forward to a new year.
