Strawberry & Chocolate Almond Butter Sandwiches are as decadent tasting as they sound! Savory? Sure! But, sweet? Absolutely…Why not! If you’re familiar with some of my favorite cravings you would know how fond I am of bread and bread related recipes and in today’s blog post I am going to share one of my favorite sandwich recipes. I made these using allergen free Soft White Bread from Julia’s Table and the sandwiches are inspired from a recipe on their website that can be found here. For those of you who are not aware, Julia’s Table was founded by Nate & Linsey after Nate’s mom (Julia) struggled with celiac disease. Nate wanted to create a line of products that tasted great and at the same time was allergen free and that’s how Julia’s Table was born.

I wanted to create a recipe that is simple to make and at the same time delicious and healthy.

How To Make It
Time required: 30 minutes
Serves: 3 people
Ingredients:
12 slices of Julia’s Table Soft White Bread
Vegan butter
Vegan chocolate almond butter
10 strawberries, washed, sliced or cut in the desired shape
Chocolate chips and toasted pumpkin seeds (Optional)
Directions:
- Lightly toast the bread slices on a skillet using butter
- Apply a thick layer (or as desired) of vegan chocolate almond butter on one side of the bread slices
- Top it up with strawberry slices. You can cut the strawberries in various shapes using a cookie cutter to make the recipe more interesting.
- Garnish it with chocolate chips and pumpkin seeds (Optional)

The combination of chocolate almond butter and fresh strawberries makes this recipe healthy and perfect for kids. Picture it: Soft white bread, buttered crispy edges and light and airy soft bread on the inside. Melted chocolate, oozing out the sides of the sandwich. Fresh strawberries releasing their juices. If you are not drooling at this, you are definitely missing on something dangerously addictive !! This was just what I needed after a long day in the kitchen. This recipe is not only a favorite with kids, but adults also equally enjoy these sandwiches.
